(Electric) Wizard did it

Here's a little tip; if you are going to add some feta to your Spinach, Ricotta and Sundried Tomato Tagliatelle, make sure it's not the feta that's been lying at the back of the fridge for a while, as it doesn't quite add the right sort of "zesty tang" you were after...

So, as I'm eating this and watching Notting Hill again (yes, I know - I can't help myself!), I notice something startling.

About ten minutes into the film, after Hugh Grant's met Julia Roberts, he literally bumps into her again. And, as Hugh Grant bumbles about making stuttery apologies as only he can, I swear I see Grant Morrison squeeze into the shot behind them, and then disappear.

Seriously.

It was one of those, "did I really just see that?" kinda moments.

I don't know why, maybe he was making some sort of anti-fourth wall chaos magic type statements, but watch it yourself if you don't believe me. Like I say, about ten minutes in, a tall bald man, wearing sungalsses and a furry coat (exactly like you might expect Grant to wear) stalks onto the screen behind them.

Maybe he's just been on my thoughts a lot recently, but that doesn't explain why he feels the need to invade my television screen. Unless he's trying to tell me something, but..., what?

Also just realised this is the kind of thing Mason would have come up with in volume 2 of The Invisibles.

Morrison's actually this reality's Doctor Who. His TARDIS is disguised as a fur coat and his mission is to travel through time and space, preventing celebrity deaths.

Hugh Grant would have been brained by a falling halogen light fixture that day if not for Grant Morrison.

He can also be seen in "Three Men & a Baby" during a scene where Tom Selleck is shopping for baby food and diapers.

If you think that's wierd, the music video for Hi Tack's dance remix of Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U) has Grant Morrison running a clinic where he digitally teaches women not to be frigid. Honest to God. I wish I could find a link to the video, but my work computer won't let me.

As for Three Men and a Baby, Grant Morrison must be the infamous shadow behind the curtain in the lounge.

I've spelled "weird" wrong in the previous post. How embarrassing.

I want that link to that video.

    No, I need that link...

Maybe we should start making a list of Morrison appearances on screen?

    Thor bless you, YouTube!

It's even better than I thought. There's more than one Grant Morrison, and they have their own Mount Rushmore-like monument!

Just watched that video, and it certainly looks like Mr. Morrison. Thing is, I watch it before it's fully loaded, impatient bastard that I am, so the video freezes when there is a close up of a scantily clad lady's arse. My better half sees this and asks me what I'm doing, so I reply "Looking for Grant Morrison!"

I think I've found my new euphemism for looking at 'net porn!

I hate feta cheese,I think'feta ' is greek for 'someone's manky foot scrapings'.
We The Undead by Electric Wizard is cool.

If a statuesque transvestite witch appears in the backgorund of Love Actually you might be onto something.

Hugh Grant films? Why oh why oh...?

We The Undead has been my phone's ringtone since the beginning of the year - the blast of feedback right at the beginning is just perfect...

And I like Notting Hill thank you very much mr76! (altho' I will never know why - and no force on earth will make me watch Love Actually)

As for that Hi-Tacky video - I have to say it sounds a lot better with the sound turned down, while you listen to Miles Davis instead.
